Dear Parents and Carers,

We wish to inform you of a range of events which The Minster Nursery & Infant School will be hosting in celebration of King Charles III’s Coronation:

DATE: Thursday 4th May 2023

Activities throughout the day: Bouncy castles,a treasure hunt, beat the goalie, designing/crafts and a combined talent show for both the Infant and Junior schools to watch in the morning. A printed photograph of your child ‘on the throne’ in royal attire if they choose (photograph to be given after event). Your child will also receive an enamel coronation badge, a flag and an ice lolly.

Cost: A contribution of £2 per child to the day’s events to be handed to their class teacher on the day.

Dress: All children can wear red, white and blue on this day (no sporting attire) Lunch time: A shared lunch with the Junior school outside. Children will receive a Union Jack lunch box containing a sandwich, piece of fruit, crisps, cake and a bottle of water. Children are able to bring their own packed lunch if they’d prefer.
